Acute ataxia and vertigo, evolving over weeks, with lateralised signs suggesting lesion in left cerebellar hemisphere or deep white matter, or its inflow/outflow tracts in the peduncles and brainstem. The chief suspicion is demyelination, and the second possibility is a space-occupying lesion.
