Acute right-sided hemichorea-hemiballismus, likely due to a left basal ganglia stroke (vascular or haemorrhagic) - most likely affecting the subthalamic nucleus or globus pallidus. Hyperglycaemia is another important consideration. Imaging and blood glucose testing are vital.
