Case 21 - Facial numbness and hearing loss
Formulation
Progressive right hemifacial numbness and right sensorineural hearing loss due to a cerebellopontine angle (CPA) lesion – most likely a vestibular schwannoma, although other lesions (neoplastic and otherwise) are possible. Imaging is needed and must include the internal acoustic meatus (IAM).
Outcome
