Clinical formulation
Acute headache and focal seizures in third-trimester pregnancy, with localisation to motor areas in left frontal lobe. Main diagnostic suspicion is of a venous sinus thrombosis, though other possibilities include small haemorrhage, a brain infection or a tumour.
